Café Nordlicht is a roastery, breakfast house and bakery right at Eckernförde harbour — with beans from direct trade, warm breakfast until 2 pm and cakes made in house.

Freshly baked rolls, eggs from the farm, homemade jams and good coffee — seven days a week, in a relaxed way well into the early afternoon.
Our own coffee roastery
We roast our beans from direct, fair trade ourselves — in small batches, gently in the drum roaster. To drink here or as whole beans for home.
Cakes and tortes from our own bakery
Every morning we bake fresh: classic buttercream tortes, juicy fruit cakes and changing seasonal slices. Whole tortes to order, too.
Our story by the harbour
It all began with a small drum roaster in the back room and the belief that good coffee needs time and closeness. The roastery became a café, and the café became a fixed meeting point for Eckernförde — right on Hafenstraße, with a view of the boats and the fjord.
Today we still roast our beans ourselves, bake fresh every morning and set the breakfast table with ingredients from the region. Whether for your first coffee of the day, a leisurely weekend breakfast or a slice of torte in the afternoon — at Café Nordlicht you are welcome to stay as long as you like.
