Availability
Three ways to reach us
The phone sits in the bakery and by the cake counter – between 2:00 and 4:30 pm is our busiest time, so a quick e-mail is often more effective than a second call.
Call
The fastest way for tables, short-notice questions and follow-ups on an ongoing cake order. We're on the phone during opening hours; Monday is our day off.
Best for anything that can be put in writing: cake requests with date and size, enquiries about family celebrations, notes on intolerances. We reply on the next opening day.
In person
Hafenstraße 12 in Eckernförde, just a few steps from the harbour. We prefer to discuss cake samples and celebration plans right at the table.

When you'll find us
We serve breakfast until 11:30am, and until 1:00pm on weekends. If you want to clarify something by phone, you'll reach us most reliably within these hours.

Monday is our day off – enquiries sent via the form are answered on Tuesday.
Seven days, then your cake is ready
Every custom cake is made in-house, which is why we plan for seven days' notice. During this week, we'll settle on size, topping and any intolerances – 18, 22 or 26 centimetres, two-tiered on request.

From enquiry to pickup
A cake order runs through four steps with us – it only becomes binding once size, date and price are confirmed in writing.

Request with date
Tell us the occasion, your preferred date and the size you'd like. At least seven days before the date, or earlier for two-tier cakes.

Response from the bakery
We check whether the date fits into the week's schedule and get back to you on the next opening day with suggestions for the sponge, filling and decoration.

Confirmation of the order
We note down the size, topping, intolerances and price in writing. Only then is the date reserved in our baking schedule.

Pick-up at the café
On the agreed day, the cake is ready chilled and boxed – during opening hours at Hafenstraße 12.
