When a table is available
The kitchen stays cold on Mondays; on all other days we open in the morning and close at 6:00 pm. We serve breakfast until 11:30 am, and until 1:00 pm on weekends.

We accept reservations for all opening hours. The last table is assigned at 5:00 pm, leaving you time for coffee and cake until 6:00 pm.
Process
How your reservation works
There are four steps between your enquiry and the laid table. So you know when you'll hear from us and what we need until then, we've laid out the process here — from the completed form to the moment the pot is on the table.
Tell us the date, time and number of guests. It helps to mention whether you'd like breakfast or are coming for coffee time — we serve breakfast Tuesday to Friday until 11:30 am, and on weekends until 1:00 pm. Please also note if you need a high chair, space for a pram, or step-free access.
We record reservations by hand in our day book and compare your request with tables already assigned. This also lets us see whether your preferred area is available: the window seats at the front, the quieter back room, or the large table for family gatherings.
You'll receive a reply by email or phone stating the time, number of guests and the designated area. Only this reply constitutes the reservation — the submitted form alone does not hold a table. On closing days and in the evenings, we reply on the next opening day.
Your table will be ready from the agreed time and held for 20 minutes. If plans change, a quick call is enough for us to hold it longer. Ordered cakes can be collected the same day or taken with you after your visit — we pack them chilled and secure for transport.

Which occasion, which table
Not every visit calls for the same table. Those enjoying a quiet breakfast sit differently than a family with a cake platter in the middle. Tell us the occasion, and we'll plan the right area for you.
Breakfast for two or three
We're happy to keep the window seats free for breakfast. Since the breakfast kitchen closes at 11:30 am Tuesday to Friday and at 1:00 pm on weekends, it's best to book at least an hour beforehand — leaving time for a second pot of coffee.
Coffee and cake in a group
From six people onwards, we put tables together, usually in the quieter back room. For larger groups, we recommend discussing the cake in advance: that way, there's still enough of the popular varieties in the display case in the afternoon, and we can pre-cut accordingly.
Family celebration with cake
Christening, birthday or coffee after a celebration: this is where table reservations and the patisserie come together. We make cakes to order with seven days' notice in 18, 22 or 26 centimetres, two-tiered on request. Please reserve the table together with the cake.
